  Edmund G. Schwartz, Sr. Joined the Baltimore County Fire Department in February 1982. He has recently been promoted to Captain of Station 19 in the Baltimore County Fire Department.

He started collecting fire memorabilia in 1975 and has amassed a large collection of helmets, badges, fire alarm equipment, uniforms, models, pictures, nozzles, patches, toys and other fire related memorabilia from the Baltimore and surrounding areas.

He owns a 1947 Ward LaFrance Fire Engine, 1966 Seagrave Fire Engine, 1966 Cadillac Ambulance and Baltimore City's former coffee wagon.

Eddie has two children: Kathleen (married with 
1 child) and Edmund Jr. (married with 3 children). Eddie Jr. joined the Baltimore County Fire Department in March 2002. He is currently an EMT assigned to the Brooklandville Station #14. He served 4 years in the Air Force as a Military Fire Fighter with a tour of duty in Kuwait. He is currently a member of the Army Air Reserves and is married with 3 children.
